These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PDFCuibu and the website at https://www.pdfcuibu.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) The Service

PDFCuibu provides browser-based PDF tools (for example merge, split, convert, compress, extract, protect/unlock). The Service processes files you upload and generates output files for you to download. We may add, remove, or change tools at any time.

2) Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company to these Terms.

3) Your responsibilities

• You own or have rights to your files. You are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary permissions to upload and process them.
• You choose what to upload. Do not upload sensitive information unless you accept the risks of using an online service.
• You verify outputs. Generated PDFs may differ from expectations due to limitations of PDF formats; you should review results before relying on them.

4) Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Misuse includes, but is not limited to:

• Uploading illegal content or content that violates third-party rights
• Attempting to break, reverse engineer, or bypass security controls
• Running automated scraping, flooding, or denial-of-service activity
• Uploading malware, exploit files, or content designed to harm systems
• Using the Service to harass, spam, or send abusive messages

We may block or limit access if we believe your usage harms the Service or other users.

5) File processing and privacy

To use the tools, you upload files to our servers for processing. Uploads and generated outputs are stored temporarily and deleted on scheduled cleanup (typically within 12 hours); cleanup runs periodically, so deletion is not instant for every file. For details about how we handle files and personal data, see our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service implies acceptance of that policy.

6) Availability and changes

We strive for good uptime, but the Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Maintenance, failures, or third-party issues may cause downtime. We may change the Service (including removing tools, adjusting limits, or changing output behavior) at any time.

7) Intellectual property

We own the Service’s software, design, logos, and content (except for the files you upload). These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. You may not copy or redistribute our UI/content except as allowed by law.

8) Your content

You retain rights in the files you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, copy, and process your files solely to provide the Service and generate outputs for you. We do not claim ownership over your uploaded content.

9) Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will meet your requirements.

10) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFCuibu and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your access to or use of the Service, (b) file loss or corruption, (c) unauthorized access to or alteration of your uploads, or (d) any conduct or content of any third party.

In any event, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim (or, if you paid nothing, a nominal amount).

11) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PDFCuibu and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your uploaded content, or your violation of these Terms.

12) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we believe you violated these Terms or if your usage creates risk to the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator’s location, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where required, disputes may be resolved in the competent courts.

14) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and publish the revised Terms here. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

15) Fees

The Service is currently offered free of charge for typical personal use. We may introduce paid plans, usage limits, or enterprise offerings in the future. If we do, we will update these Terms and provide clear information on pricing and limits.

16) Feedback

If you send suggestions, bug reports, or ideas, you grant us permission to use that feedback to improve the Service without restriction or compensation. This does not affect your ownership of your uploaded files.

17) DMCA / copyright complaints

If you believe content processed through the Service infringes copyright, contact us using the Contact form with sufficient details (work identification, proof of rights, and the relevant information). Because the Service is a processing tool and does not publish user files, many issues can be resolved by stopping the upload at the source.

18) Service limits and fair use

To keep the Service reliable for everyone, we may apply rate limits and size limits. If your workload is large (batch processing many documents), contact us and describe your use case; we may suggest an alternative workflow.

19) Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

20) Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PDFCuibu regarding the Service.
